Frequently asked questions

Which repositories work?

Any public GitHub repository, as owner/name (for example oven-sh/bun). Private repositories are not reachable.

Is open_issues only issues?

No. GitHub counts open pull requests in it too, so busy projects show high numbers.

Why is latest_release a different package?

In a monorepo, the newest release can belong to any package in it. Hono's was @hono/vercel@1.0.1 on Oct 8, 2026, not the main hono package.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. Repository lookups are free. You need an account for an API key, and the $5 welcome credit is there for the paid tools.

Can my AI agent use it?

Yes. Add the Superpowers MCP server to Claude, Cursor, Codex or ChatGPT and ask in plain words, or call POST /v1/run with the tool github.repo.
