}Frequently asked questions
Can I get only 10-Ks or 8-Ks?
Yes. Pass form, for example 10-K or 8-K, and limit (up to 25) to get just those filings.
Does it return the financial statements?
It returns the filing list with direct links to each document. Reading the statements means opening those links, which an agent can do with a page reader.
Does it cost anything?
No. SEC filings lookups are free. You need an account for an API key, and the $5 welcome credit is there for the paid tools.
Do I need the CIK?
No. A ticker is enough. The response includes the CIK for later calls.
Can my AI agent use it?
Yes. Add the Superpowers MCP server and your agent can pull a company's latest filings on its own, for example to check recent 8-Ks before a meeting.
