}Frequently asked questions
Do I need the app id?
No. Pass query with the app name and the first App Store match is used, or pass app_id (the digits in the App Store URL) to be exact.
Which countries work?
Any App Store country. Pass a two-letter code such as us, gb, br or de. Reviews and ratings are per country.
How many reviews can I get?
Up to 50 of the most recent reviews per call (limit, default 10). Apple's public feed only exposes recent reviews, not the full history.
Does it cost anything?
No. App Store review lookups are free. You need an account for an API key, and the $5 welcome credit is there for the paid tools.
Can my AI agent use it?
Yes. Add the Superpowers MCP server and ask in plain language, for example to summarize complaints after a release or compare your app's reviews with a competitor's.
