A real run
We ran this for Allbirds, Gymshark and Glossier in the US on Oct 10, 2026, last 30 days, reading the first 24 ads Google lists for each. Totals are Google's own estimate at that moment. Google shows the first and last date an ad was shown and its format, not whether it ran every day, what it cost or how it performed. Brands are examples; we are not affiliated.
Of the first 24 Google ads pointing to gymshark.com, 23 come from Gymshark accounts and 1, “Gymshark - Gymshark Official Site”, from an account not named Gymshark, first shown Jul 29, 2026. Google's record does not say whether Gymshark allowed it.
Started in the last 30 days (first shown Sep 10 or later), among each brand's first 24: Gymshark 9, Allbirds 3, Glossier 3. Google's preview of one new Gymshark ad (first shown Sep 11), captured Oct 10, shows code EXTRA20 for an extra 20% off, valid Sep 27–28. All 3 of Glossier's new ads and 1 of Allbirds' are videos.
Gymshark's two oldest ads with a preview are evergreen, not discounts: a bra sister-size guide and baggy sweatpants, both first shown May 26, 2023 and still shown Oct 10, 2026. Its oldest ad (May 25, 2023) has no preview.
17 of Gymshark's own 23 ads in that list are text ads.
Allbirds has five ads tied for longest at 495 days (one video, two image, two text), first shown June 2–3, 2025 and still shown Oct 10.
Glossier mixes formats: 13 text, 7 video and 4 image ads among its first 24; its oldest still shown, from March 2024, is a Cloud Paint blush ad.
Google reports about 200 ads each for Allbirds and Gymshark and about 300 for Glossier in the US in the last 30 days.
What you do with it: run it on your own website, and if an account you don't recognise pays for ads to it, check whether it's a partner before you report it to Google.

The ads behind this example
How it works
Your AI assistant does these steps for you. You pay only for each run; nothing to install or configure.
Looks up each competitor on Google's ad archive
You type their websites. It reads Google's public Ads Transparency Center for the country and window you pick.
Counts what they run and who paid
How many ads Google reports, which formats they use, which started inside the window, and any ad paid for by an advertiser that is not the brand. Counted from Google's records, not estimated by AI.
Shows the ones they have kept live longest
The ads first shown longest ago that Google still shows come first, with a picture of each ad where Google has one and a link to see it.
Questions
Where does the data come from?
Google's public Ads Transparency Center, the archive anyone can browse. It lists the ads an advertiser has shown on Google Search, YouTube, Shopping, Maps and Play, with the first and last date each was shown and its format.
What does it cost?
About 1 cent per competitor, paid from your balance. New accounts start with $5 free, enough for hundreds of checks.
How accurate are the counts?
The total is Google's own estimate at the moment you run it and can change hours later. The formats, new ads and oldest live ads come from the first 24 ads Google lists for each brand, so they describe that sample, not every ad.
Does it show what they spend or which ads work?
No. Google shows the first and last date each ad was shown and its format, not spend, clicks or sales, and not whether it ran every day in between. An old ad that is still shown tells you what they keep live, not that it wins.
Can it spot someone advertising on my brand?
Partly. Run it on your own website: among the first 24 ads Google lists pointing to your site, any paid for by an account other than yours is shown with a link. Ask your AI assistant to read more pages for a fuller check. It does not catch competitors whose ads use your brand name but point to their own site.
How often should I run it?
Monthly, or before you launch a campaign. Run it with the same websites each time to see which ads are new.
What if a competitor shows no ads?
Either they showed no Google ads in that country and window, or they advertise under a different website. Try their main website, or another country.
Is anything about me shared?
No. It only reads public ad records for the websites you name; your competitors are not notified.
