Know when Brazil changes the rules on what you can advertise
Since Sep 25, ads for sports bets and online casino games have been banned in Brazil in any medium; 6 more rules followed within a week, and betting licenses end Oct 25.
Ask your AI assistant to check Brazil's official gazette and Congress for a market you advertise in. You get the rules already in force, the deadlines they set and the bills still pending, each with a link to the official text.
Check what changed in Brazil's rules on betting advertising since September: anything published in the official gazette, what it requires and by when, and the bills in Congress. Link each one to the official text.

A real run
Checked Oct 13, 2026 in the official gazette and both chambers of Congress. Rule summaries are ours, from the published texts; bill summaries are the official ones. One decree on the list (13.131) moves Justice Ministry staff and only cites the measure.
Since Sep 25, ads for sports bets and online casino games have been banned in Brazil in any medium, physical or digital.
A provisional measure published that day (Medida Provisória 1.394) took effect on publication. It covers sports bets and online casino games; other lotteries are not affected. Betting licenses end on Oct 25.
In the following week, 6 more rules appeared in the official gazette: a committee to police illegal betting and its ads, four Central Bank rules confirming that banks and the Pix, TED and boleto systems must block payments to betting since Sep 25, except to wind down operations and refund bettors, and deadlines for licensed operators to wind down.
At least 39 bills in Congress mention betting advertising, 24 of them filed this year, and Congress must approve the measure itself for it to stay in force.
What you do with it: check that nothing you run, sponsor or host still promotes betting, and have your assistant run the same check every week for the markets you advertise in.

How it works
Your AI assistant does these steps for you. Our run was free, and there is nothing to install or configure.
Searches the official gazette
Every federal act published since a date that uses the words, with a link to its text.
Follows the main rule
Everything published that cites the measure, so the follow-up rules turn up too.
Searches both chambers of Congress
Bills in the Câmara and the Senado, newest first, with their official summaries and links.
Sorts it into what to do
Your assistant reads the texts and lists what is in force, the deadlines, and what is still only a bill.
Questions
Where does this come from?
The federal official gazette (Diário Oficial da União) and the open data of the Câmara and the Senado, read at the moment you ask.
Does it cover state and city rules?
No. It covers federal acts and federal bills; state laws and city rules are not included.
What is a provisional measure?
A measure the President issues with force of law from the day it is published. It lapses unless Congress approves it within 60 days, which can be extended once for another 60; days of congressional recess do not count.
Is this legal advice?
No. It shows what was published, with links to the official text. Ask a lawyer how a rule applies to your business.
Can I use it for other markets?
Yes. Change the words, for example "publicidade infantil", "bebidas alcoólicas" or "cigarro eletrônico", and the check covers that market instead.
How often should I run it?
Once a week is enough to catch new rules and bills; run it again before launching a campaign in a regulated market.
How accurate is it?
Dates, links and bill summaries come straight from the gazette and Congress; the plain-English rule summaries are ours, so read the official text before acting. Counts are a snapshot at the moment you run it, and Congress returns the newest matches first, so bill counts are a floor.
What if it finds nothing?
Nothing new used your words in that window. Try related words, such as "patrocínio" or "apostas", before concluding nothing changed.
Will anyone know I checked?
No. These are public records.
What does it cost?
Nothing; it is free. New accounts also get $5 to try the paid use cases.
