Check your ad copy against Meta, Google, LinkedIn and TikTok limits before it goes live

An AI assistant's first ad draft ran 195 characters where Meta recommends 125, putting “$5 free” where Meta may hide it, and the check caught that and 4 other problems.

Paste the ad copy your AI assistant wrote for Instagram and Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and TikTok. You get every line measured against that platform's limit, the ones to fix, and matching ads in your logo and colors in three sizes.

Ask your AI assistant

Write ad copy for Superpowers for Instagram and Facebook, Google search and display, LinkedIn and TikTok, plus a headline, button and three benefits for the images. Check every line against each platform's limits, fix what fails, and design the ads in our logo and brand colors.

5 problems caught in one AI draft: Meta main text 195, final 122 (max 125); Meta descriptions 33 and 30, final 24 and 27 (max 27); LinkedIn main text 231, final 149 (max 150); LinkedIn headlines 2, final 1

What you get

  • Every line of your copy measured against its platform's limit: over, too short for the field, or cut mid-sentence
  • Which lines to fix and why, so your AI assistant can rewrite them and check again
  • Ads designed in your logo and colors at 1080×1080, 1080×1920 and 1200×628
  • A review sheet with every line and every image, ready to hand to whoever runs the ads

A real run

Checked Oct 12, 2026, on a first draft an AI assistant wrote from a short brief about Superpowers, our own product, and on its rewrites of the flagged lines. Brands are examples; not affiliated.

An AI assistant can't reliably count characters: its first ad draft for Meta, Google search and display, LinkedIn and TikTok had 4 lines too long and 1 extra headline. After rewriting only what the check flagged, nothing was too long or extra.

Meta's main text ran 195 characters where Meta recommends about 125, putting “and new accounts get $5 free” past the point where Meta may hide text behind “See more”. The first rewrite (144) was aimed at 150, our check's old setting, which we moved to Meta's 125 the same day; the next two came in at 137 and 122, and the last opens with the offer.

LinkedIn's main text ran 231 where about 150 show, cutting everything after “and”, including the offer; rewritten to 149. Both Meta descriptions ran past 27 (33 and 30), rewritten to 24 and 27, and LinkedIn had two headlines where the ad uses one.

Google search and TikTok passed on the first try. Three lines were flagged as short, with room left: one Google display description, rewritten from 65 to 89 characters of 90, and both LinkedIn headlines; the one kept (45 of 70) still runs as is.

What you do with it: before any ad goes live, have your assistant run its copy through the check and rewrite what it flags until it passes.

How it works

Your AI assistant does these steps for you. Our run was free, and there is nothing to install or configure.

Measures every line against its platform's limit

Over the limit, too short for the field, or cut mid-sentence, line by line.

Sends the failing lines back to your assistant

Your assistant rewrites only those lines and checks again.

Designs the ads in your logo and colors

Headline, offer, three benefits and a button, laid out at each size.

Questions

Who writes the copy?

Your AI assistant. This measures it line by line against each platform and tells the assistant which lines to fix; it doesn't write for you.

Where do the limits come from?

From each platform's published ad guidance: Meta recommends about 125 characters of main text before “See more” and 27 for headlines and descriptions; Google search headlines take 30 characters and descriptions 90; LinkedIn shows about 150 characters of main text; TikTok takes 100. Text past a limit is cut off, hidden or rejected.

Where do the logo and colors come from?

The logo is read from your website. Colors are read from the logo, or you give them; in this run we gave our brand's dark and orange.

Can I use my own product photo?

Yes. Send its link and it takes the place of the benefits card.

What does it cost?

Nothing; it is free. New accounts also get $5 to try the paid use cases.

Does it use AI images?

No. The ads are laid out from your text, logo and colors, or your own photo.

How accurate is it?

Character counts and sizes are exact. Whether a line reads well is still yours to judge: it flags lines cut mid-sentence or too short, not lines that are weak.

Will anyone see my copy?

No. The check runs on the text you send; nothing is posted and no ad account is touched.

How often should I run it?

Every time your assistant writes or changes ad copy, before it goes into the ad platform.

What if nothing is flagged?

Every line is within its platform's limit or recommendation. Some placements and phones still show less, so put the key words first. Whether the copy is persuasive is yours to judge.
