Checks whether a Brazilian bank, fintech, lender, cooperative or website is authorized by the Banco Central.

Give a CNPJ, a name, or a website; you get the matching institutions in operation with their type (bank, payment institution, fintech credit company, cooperative, consortium administrator, broker...), city and official website, plus whether the website is a domain BCB lists as belonging to an authorized institution, and to which one. Use it before taking a loan, paying a fee to 'release' credit, or typing your bank password into a link. Not finding a company means it is not on BCB's lists of institutions in operation; small payment companies may operate legally without authorization. Free.
