# Weekly competitor ad watch

I run this every Monday for the brands we compete with. It takes about a minute and costs a few cents.

## Input
- A list of competitor names or Facebook page names (3 to 5 works best).

## Steps
1. For each competitor, find the advertiser with POST /v1/run {"tool": "scrapecreators.meta-ad-advertisers", "input": {"query": "<competitor>"}} and keep the page id of the right match.
2. Get their active ads with POST /v1/run {"tool": "scrapecreators.meta-company-ads", "input": {"page_id": "<page id>", "status": "ACTIVE"}}.
3. Summarize with POST /v1/run {"tool": "openai.gpt-4.1-mini", "input": {"prompt": "<the ads as text>"}}: new offers, the hooks they repeat, formats (video, carousel, static) and anything that started this week.
4. Publish with POST /v1/shares {"title": "Competitor ads, week of <date>", "items": [{"label": "Summary", "text": "<summary>"}, ...one image item per standout ad...]} and send the link to the team.

## Tips
- Keep last week's link: asking the model "what's new versus last week" is where most of the value is.
